It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that the President of the Cyprus Football Association Mr. Costakis Koutsokoumnis, passed away today following his battle with cancer, at the age of 61.
Mr Koutsokoumnis was the President of Cyprus Football Association since September 2001 and member of the Board since November 1994.
He served the Cyprus Football Association with dedication and honesty and his death leaves a huge gap to all the family of football.
Since 2017, he was a member of the FIFA Executive Committee. He also served UEFA as a member of various committees.
The details of the funeral will be announced shortly.
